Description: Posting of different bread recipes

Hi all...
Is there a corn bread recipe that would make the finished product more like white bread instead of the crumbly corn type? I need to make a sandwich type of corn bread.... with the grit still intact....

Feeling proud
Me again! <puffing out chest with pride> I've just set my first loaf of bread going in the ABM! It would, of course, help if I was taller and/or the counter was lower but other than lifting the tin out and putting it back in, I did it all myself!! It really is just is 3 buttons but pressed a few times each (to set the... more »

no-kneed, yeast and Eagle Mills Flour help
Hi all, I've been making Jim Leahey's no kneed bread for a few months with great success using various unbleached white flours. Yesterday, at Costco, I bought Eagle Mills All Purpose Unbleached flour that is a blend of white and ultragrain flour. It is a way to get some fiber into the loaf. Sounds good.... more »

OMG!!!!!
The bread machine I bought and had delivered a few days ago makes amazing bread! OK, so it leaves a small hole in the bottom where the kneeding (??) blade went into it but you wouldn't know it was there if you weren't shown! Steve pressed 3 buttons and 4 hours later it was done and an hour or so after that (to allow for cooling) we had our... more »

Hiya everyone I've got a terrible memory so bear with me while I try and remember what the 2 things are! OK, first is that our very first loaf should be ready in about 10 or 15 minutes... it seems Steve was even more excited about our bread machine than me and set the machine going at 6am this morning!! lol... more »

Lebanese Pizza
Saw this in the paper: [link] I have enjoyed those Middle Eastern flat breads with spiced meat on them on holiday in Turkey and thought I would make some. The recipe says buy the flat bread from a shop but obviously I want to make them. What would go in... more »

Finishing in the oven?
I have several bread machines recipies that I've used only the machines to produce a product. Now I'd like to use the dough cycle and finish the bread in the oven. Is there a general rule that describes how long and what temp to use to finish in the oven? Currently looking at my Oatmeal Bread recipie -... more »

Geez Louise/OMG!!!!
The bread machine has just been delivered and it's huge!! I'm 5 foot tall and it's thigh high tall!! I was planning on using it on the floor as I didn't think I'd be able to reach in to put the ingredients in and didn't want it to walk off the counter but it's definitely a "use on the floor" machine, not just... more »
