I can't bring up my blog when I search thru google or any other search engine. When I search in blogger it brings up a entry I deleted then when I click the link there is nothing there, if I click my blog link it brings up the entry I made today. I'm new at this but I have spent alot of time going thru the help links and changing my internet explorer to what what was advised.
I am having same problem. Been searching on google for my blog and nothing comes so no one else will be able to find it. Plz tell me if you find a solution. I will be keeping an eye on this question (needless to say).
It takes time for a blog or a new blog entry to be indexed. If you are impatient, try pinging at pingoat.com or have a friend who already have a site which have been index, to put a link to your blog/entry, even if only temporary (to be deleted after you are indexed).
If your blog isn't already listed in Google's Blog search engine, you can submit it manually. Add your blog to Google's Blog Search. http://blogsearch.google.com/ping
It usually takes a new website about a month before it's fully indexed by Google. Google Blog Search indexes blogs by their site feeds, so be sure that you publish a site feed.

You probably will not find your blog pages in a standard Google search... you need to use Google Blog Search >> http://blogsearch.google.com/
Couple tips,
- Blogs work off pings to blog aggrigators. When you post using Blogger it pings its own spider. I find my pages are indexed in about 10-15 minutes (Big difference with Web, which the Google cache gets updated usually about once a month... which is way old news for a blog) Deleted pages can remain floating in the search cache for a while, and will usually disapper when the spiders can no longer find them.
- Syndicate your blog feed with Feedburner >> http://www.feedburner.com/ While you can manually ping all the different blog aggrigators (like technorati), Feedburner has a list where you can add a bunch of common ones and feedburner will ping them automaticly when it detects updates in your feed (when you make a post). (along with lots of other cool feed tools, like convert your XML feed in HTML to add to other webpages etc.. examples can be found on my site)

I just meant it may take a while to show up compared to the Google Blog Search.
When Googlebot visits my site it will follow the links to my blogs and index those pages.
Thats all. 8)
Thanks a bunch for the IE text note... that was an IE6 CSS bug fix style import I must have forgot to update that URL when I uploaded it. 8o IE6 doesn't support a lot of the CSS I use (I follow W3C Standards) ;-.)
I find the problem with these Auto Submiters most Add Url will drop those request due to the "automated" nature of them. Best to manualy submit them to a few major ones and once you are in those you will eventually end up in the rest.
Even Google mentions it ...
"To help us distinguish between sites submitted by individuals and those automatically entered by software robots, please type the squiggly letters shown here into the box below." >> http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
Jinx might I quote you? Jinx said "You probably will not find your blog pages in a standard Google search... you need to use Google Blog Search." That is entirely different than meaning it might take a while to show up in Google search.
Do not patronize me. I actually know what I'm talking about.
Again you have given inaccurate advice regarding Auto Submitters.
All that you've done is set up a redirect to the actual page to submit your url? Why bother doing all that leg work when submitexpress will successfully submit it to 40 search engines for you?
When you use submitexspress you will be required to confirm your submission with Scub the web and Jayde . I have used Submit Express free search engine submission for all my websites and am very satisfied. Submit Express was chosen by the Patricia Seybold Group ( customers.com ) as the top search engine optimization firm in the industry.
The comment that you refer to on Googles page is to make sure that the url is not being submitted by spam bots. They are not referring to submission scripts like that used by submit express. ;-)
You know most people can tell BS when they see it and no offence, but well your reply reeks of it.

One should not stick there nose into something that they know nothing about. The allegations on the internet have not hurt my reputation any. Rest assured that I continue to focus on my goals and that is Today's Woman Writing Community and my other websites and help a great deal at these groups. At the end of the day, I only care that my members are pleased with the services that I provide them with and that they are.
There have been some unpleasant things said about husband and I and our websites by a group of individuals and for anyone reading this I would like to point you to a comment that was left on my blog by a fellow blogger. Please see the comment made by Peri. I would like to point out that I don't know Peri very well except through visiting her blog. http://rosedesrochers.todays-woman.net/2006/08/15/rose-desrochers-sex...
Peri, taught me that the story will always tell itself and I am very sorry that you did not bother to read the full story before judging me or that you did not care to know the truth. It is people like you who add to the problem.
To those reading this, please remember this. Before you judge someone based on something that you read on the internet, be sure that you know the entire story.
What you have is ex-members of Today's Woman who were removed for one reason or another and a group of bystanders like yourself who have come out to stick their nose where it don't belong. It does not even matter if these bystanders like yourself really know me- you are going to have your say because it's good for the ratings and you think it is a notch in your belt.
My websites and blogs will speak for themselves. Good day sir!
Now I wasn't going to reply as this has been discussed to the point of overkill; so if you reply back don't expect a response I refuse to waste my time!
Now anyone who cares to read those threads can plainly see it's the same individuals and it's been those same individuals over and over again for almost 2 years give it a break already - and you plus these so called grownups still act like children acting like sour pusses as they didn't get it their way!
It's like those endless reruns that the dame cable show won't pull off as they need it to fill a time slot and nothing more!
Even reading those threads many claim I don't exist yet here I am replying to another senseless post!
Now to cut it short, we run a number of successful sites one with 6000+ members another with 1350+ members plus a successful web hosting site which have no complaints!
These are 'X' members and if that's all you got for a course of 5 years of running our sites I think you need to research further!
The straight forward answer here is simple; do any of these so called posts have any proof? NO, do any of those posts have any bearing on us? No again!
Our reputation speaks for its self and we don't speak fiction we speak facts!
Where not the only business or community sites that have this problem, blogger themselves can relate as countless members don't mind using the free services that they pay nothing for, yet come here to bitch how crappy they are!
It's all over the net, and many other communities deal with nitwits like your self everyday!
Its amazing how a user can post something untrue with no proof what's so ever but because it was posted online it must be true!
I've just made a post on another thread about the Blogger in beta and Blog Search relationship - go check it out for an explanation of what's going on and why some blogs aren't getting indexed:
