1) There are many interpretations of what you wish and what might be
possible and without detail, we are sure to get mutually frustrated.

For example, since I am currently leading an Oracle Spatial extensions
seminar, my first guess at 3-D and 2-D database involves GIS systems and
georeferenced coordinates or CAD-CAM systems. Such a merge is possible
then by unloading the varray, resetting the ordinate set to 3-D triplets,
and reloading the varray using data triplets, or setting up a completely
separate SDO_GEOM. But I suspect that ain't what you want at all.

Your question implies you might be confusing spreadsheet with
database.

Please explain (in detail, and with pictures if possible) what you mean by
2-D tabular database and 3-D database.

2) Polite visitors to this forum will make the volunteers [who take
time to answer] happy by removing unnecessary comments from previous posts
and adding their comments and questions to the bottom of the message.
(There is no reason other than to appease us by respecting [or pretending
to respect] our community.) [That's once, no seconds] Thanks.
